HC Deb 27 March 1930 vol 237 cc582-3
23. Sir K. WOOD

asked the Home Secretary whether he can now state the position of the proceedings against John Gialdini?

Mr. CLYNES

His Majesty's Government have been informed officially of the arrest of Gialdini. I cannot make any further statement while the matter remains sub judice.

Sir K. WOOD

Is there any possibility of any portion of the evidence being taken in London?

Mr. CLYNES

I could not say; it may be that some portion of it may be taken in London.
