HC Deb 27 March 1930 vol 237 c583
24. Captain PETER MACDONALD

asked the Home Secretary whether it is his intention to introduce a measure amending the Criminal Law in relation to children and young persons; and, if so, whether the Bill will be brought in during the present Session of Parliament?

Mr. CLYNES

It is the intention of the Government, as I have stated in reply to previous questions, to introduce a Bill to amend the Children Act, 1908; but I regret that it is impossible in view of the pressure of Parliamentary business to take the Bill this Session.
