asked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he can now state when it is proposed to make public the Report of the West Indies Sugar Commission?

Mr. LUNN

I have been asked to reply to this question. It is hoped that arrangements may be completed to allow of publication during the next 10 days or so.

Mr. ORMSBY-GORE

Will copies be sent for publication in the West Indies?

Mr. LUNN

I am not aware of that.

Captain PETER MACDONALD

In view of the fact that this Commission was sent out at the request of the Governments of the West Indies, and the fact that the expense was borne by those Governments, is it not reasonable to expect that this Report should be sent to them and published at the earliest possible moment?

Mr. LUNN

I have answered the question on the Paper, that the Report will be published in the next 10 days.
