asked the President of the Board of Education the number of men and women teachers under 65 years of age in receipt of pensions, giving, if possible, the number for each yearly age period after retirement?

The question involves a number of figures and I will, with the hon. Member's permission, circulate them in the OFFICIAL REPORT.

Following are the figures:

There are 2,148 men and 4,252 women under 65 years of age in receipt of teachers' pensions other than infirmity pensions.

The figures for the different ages are as follows:
