HC Deb 13 March 1930 vol 236 cc1492-3
87. Mr. MORLEY

asked the Minister of Health if his attention has been called to the excessive rents often charged for decontrolled houses; and if he proposes to introduce legislation to set up fair-rent courts?

Mr. GREENWOOD

This matter will receive consideration in connection with any legislation amending the Rent Restriction Acts, but as I have indicated in reply to other questions, it will not be practicable to introduce further legislation in the immediate future.

Mr. BEAUMONT

Is it not a fact that these decontrolled houses axe Government houses?
