HC Deb 13 March 1930 vol 236 c1488
77. Sir K. WOOD

asked the Minister of Health whether the recommendations contained in the recent Report of the advisory committee on the Welfare of the Blind have received his consideration; if so, what action he proposes to take in the matter; and whether the Government have decided to bring before Parliament proposals for giving pensions to blind people at 40 years of age?

Mr. GREENWOOD

I have circulated this Report to the local authorities concerned. The matter referred to in the last part of the question is under consideration.

Sir K. WOOD

Is not the right hon. Gentleman going to do something in this matter? Has the whole Ministry ceased its functions altogether?
