Mr. MOSESasked the First Lord of the Admiralty if he is aware that the crew of His Majesty's lug "Retort," attached to His Majesty's dockyard at Devonport, were called from their homes for special duty on the night of Sunday, 8th December; that they were sent from Plymouth during one of the heaviest December gales to assist the steamship "Tynebridge" in distress off the Scilly Islands; and that the only remuneration they received was 4s. per man; and whether he will consider increasing the rate of remuneration for this work?
