asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he is able to report any further progress in the Lena abitration proceedings in Berlin?

No, Sir. The hon. Member is no doubt aware that a sitting of the Court of Arbitration took place in London on the 19th June, and that the proceedings of the Court are not yet concluded.

Will the right hon. Gentleman at least ask the Soviet Ambassador on his return for the reasons why the Soviet Government have not taken part in these proceedings according to contract?
