§ Mr. GREENWOOD650 local authorities are operating the Local Government and other Officers Superannuation Act, 1922. In reply to the second part of the question, I cannot say more than that I am very desirous of introducing legislation on the subject as soon as opportunity offers.
§ Mr. THORNEDoes my right hon. Friend think any useful purpose will be served in urging upon local authorities who have not operated the Act to put it into operation at the earliest date?
