HC Deb 18 June 1930 vol 240 c399
48. Mr. FREEMAN

asked the Prime Minister whether the consultations between the Opposition parties and himself on agriculture have reached any conclusion?

The PRIME MINISTER

I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer which I gave yesterday in reply to a question by the hon. Member for Blackpool (Sir W. de Frece), to which I have nothing as yet to add.

Mr. FREEMAN

This question was not answered in the House yesterday.

Mr. LAMBERT

Could we have an answer now?

The PRIME MINISTER

Certainly. I am very sorry it was not answered, but it was a fourth question. The reply was: "I am exchanging views on the subject with the Leader of the Opposition."
