HC Deb 18 June 1930 vol 240 cc399-400
50. Mr. O. LEWIS

asked the Minister of Agriculture what further steps he proposes to take to encourage the sale of national-mark beef in Birmingham?

The MINISTER of AGRICULTURE (Dr. Addison)

In view of the fact that the Birmingham butchers appear to have stated that they are prepared to supply national-mark beef on demand, I am actively organising various forms of publicity in order to explain the position to the public and assist those butchers who are co-operating with us.
