HC Deb 17 June 1930 vol 240 c37
63. Mr. ALBERY

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what privileges of an exceptional nature, if any, are accorded to Russian trading vessels belonging to the Union of Socialist Soviet Republics when visiting British ports?

Mr. W. GRAHAM

I have been asked to reply. No special privileges are accorded to Russian trading vessels when visiting British ports.

Mr. ALBERY

Ought not these national vessels to be entitled to the same diplomatic privileges as the national trading office?

Mr. GRAHAM

I am not sure that I understand the supplementary question, but my information is that there is no discrimination.
