HC Deb 17 June 1930 vol 240 c37
61. Major ELLIOT (for Viscount WOLMER)

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he is satisfied that the terms of the treaty with Russia in regard to propaganda are being strictly complied with?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Mr. Dalton)

My right hon. Friend has at present nothing to add to the statement which he made in the debate on the Adjournment on the 6th of June.

Lieut.-Colonel HENEAGE

Are we to understand that the Government have taken no steps during the Recess about this matter?

Mr. SMITHERS

May I ask if a committee has been set up to inquire into this question, and have they issued an interim report?

Mr. DALTON

Perhaps the hon. Member will put that question down on the Paper.
