HC Deb 02 June 1930 vol 239 cc1750-1
26. Commander OLIVER LOCKER-LAMPSON

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in view of the hardship inflicted in certain cases, he will reconsider his decision with regard to the abrogation of the Anglo-Russian Treaty of 22nd January, 1874?

Mr. A. HENDERSON

Representations to the effect suggested by the hon. and gallant Member have already been made to me and are receiving careful consideration.

Commander LOCKER-LAMPSON

May I see the right hon. Gentleman about it?

Mr. HENDERSON

I understand that my Department sent the hon. and gallant Member an invitation to come to the Department and go into the matter, and he has not availed himself of the invitation.

Commander LOCKER-LAMPSON

I have not received the letter, but I acknowledge your courtesy.
