Major POLE,asked the Secretary of State for India whether any decision has been arrived at by the Government of India in regard to the publication of the report of the Indian Tariff Board inquiry into the salt industry; and whether it is proposed to make public at the same time the views of the Government of India concerning the Tariff Board's recommendations?
§ Mr. BENNI have not heard what the intentions of the Government of India are, but the procedure indicated by my hon. and gallant Friend is regularly followed in regard to reports of the Tariff Board.
