§ The PRESIDENT of the BOARD of EDUCATION (Sir Charles Trevelyan)The Government intend to make provision for the grant of maintenance allowances in respect of children during the time for which their period of school attendance is extended. Proposals as to the form and amount of the allowances, which will be brought forward in the autumn, are under consideration.
