HC Deb 27 January 1930 vol 234 c614
66. Mr. EDE

asked the Minister of Agriculture if he has yet given his decision on the application to enclose common land at Gaywood, Norfolk, for a refuse tip; and if he will require, in the event of assent to the application being contemplated, that at least an equivalent area of land shall be added to the common?

Mr. N. BUXTON

The Freebridge Lynn Rural District Council, who made the application to which the hon. Member refers, have been informed that I am not prepared to give my consent to the proposed enclosure, unless at least an equal area of land is acquired and made available for a public recreation ground.
