§ Mr. W. GRAHAMThe total amount of light dues collected in the year ended 31st March, 1929, the date of the latest completed accounts, was £999,968. The amounts transferred to the Lighthouse authorities to meet their direct expenditure during the year were as follow:
Trinity House, £516,418; Northern Lights Commissioners £153,889; Irish Lights Commissioners, £206,535.
§ Mr. KELLYIn view of the large income of the Lights Commissioners, is there any likelihood of an improvement in the conditions and wages of the people employed?
