§ Sir C. TREVELYANIf I rightly understand the cases to which the hon. Member refers, no maintenance allowances would be payable. The body which pays for the maintenance of the child would be excluded from receiving the allowance by the prescribed income limits, and the person who receives the child would be excluded because he or she would not be maintaining the child.
