HC Deb 30 April 1930 vol 238 cc187-8
23. Mr. WARDLAW-MILNE

asked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether the Government has yet decided upon their policy in connection with East Africa; and When it is expected that a statement will be made to this House on this subject?

Dr. SHIELS

I can add nothing to the reply given to the hon. Member for Willesden East (Mr. D. G. Somerville) on the 16th April, which was that a statement on this subject will be made at the earliest possible date, but that I am not yet able to say when that will be.
