HC Deb 14 April 1930 vol 237 c2631
49. Captain CROOKSHANK

asked the Prime Minister if he has yet decided whether he intends to proceed further with the Coast Protection Bill?

The PRIME MINISTER

I can add nothing to what I have already said in reply to questions on this subject. The position is still unchanged.

Lieut.-Colonel HENEAGE

Is it to be assumed that the Government have now dropped this Bill?

The PRIME MINISTER

The statement was that, if there was to be a cessation of the opposition to the Measure, communication would be made through the usual channels. No such communication has been made.
