Mr. THOMASThe answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. In reply to the second part, I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer which I gave to a question put by the right hon. Gentleman the Member for West Woolwich (Sir K. Wood) on the 5th instant, in which I indicated that the Government are considering the promotion of legislation to enable comprehensive works of land drainage to be undertaken.
