HC Deb 11 November 1929 vol 231 c1522
46. Mr. SINKINSON

asked the Prime Minister if legislation is contemplated for the total abolition of leasehold law in the United Kingdom, giving permanency to people owning their own houses or business premises?

The PRIME MINISTER

The state of Parliamentary business does not admit of the expansion of the Government's present programme.

Mr. E. BROWN

On a point of Order. Was not the hon. Member out of the House at the time when he put this question?

Mr. SPEAKER

That is true. The hon. Member was not within the House.
