31. Mr. OSWALD LEWIS

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the Government have made any representations to the German Government on the subject of the export to this country of bounty-fed cereals from Germany; and, if so, what was the nature of such representations?

Mr. GILLETT (Secretary, Overseas Trade Department)

I have been asked to reply. I would refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave in this House on 4th November, of which I am sending him a copy.

56. Mr. O. LEWIS

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether the Government have yet decided to take any action, either by way of administration or by way of legislation, to counteract the competition of bounty-fed German cereals in this country?

The MINISTER of AGRICULTURE (Mr. Noel Buxton)

I can add nothing to the statements which I have already made on this subject.
