asked the Lord Privy Seal if he will take into early consideration the utilisation for productive purposes of the Government rolling mills at Woolston, Southampton, in connection with his unemployment schemes?

Mr. THOMAS

These works were dismantled several years ago and only the bare buildings remain. I do not consider that the Government could make productive use of the buildings, and efforts are being continued to dispose of them.
