Amendment made:
In page 99, line 32, at the end, add the words—
(4) The Minister may by order direct that the provisions of Part III of this Act and such other provisions of this Act as relate to the property, liabilities, and officers of highway authorities shall, subject to such exceptions, adaptations, and modifications, if any, as may be specified in the order, extend to the administrative county of the Isle of Wight, and any such order may amend or repeal any provision contained in the Isle of Wight (Highways) Act, 1925; but, except as so applied, the said provisions of this Act shall not extend to the said county."—[Sir K.
