Amendments made:

In page 57, line 17, after the word "shall," insert the words "as from the appointed day."

In line 19, leave out from the beginning, to the word "in," in line 21.

In line 25, leave out the words "Local

Taxation Account an equivalent sum" and insert instead thereof the words: Road Fund in addition to the sums paid into that fund under Sub-section (3) of the said Section two a sum of five hundred and thirty-six thousand nine hundred and fifty-four pounds and eight shillings."—[Mr. Chamberlain.]
