I beg to move, in page 76, to leave out from the word "just," in line 28, to the word "that," in line 30, and to insert instead thereof the words: "if, (a) he is satisfied, either upon representations made to him by any association or other body of persons experienced or interested in matters relating to public health or without any such representations. This Amendment is moved in order to make it plain that the Minister can take action, not only on his own initiative, hut on representations made to him any association or other body of persons experienced or interested in these matters. This request has been pressed from all quarters of the House, and my right hon. Friend is meeting the wishes of hon. Members.
