Mr. THOMASI have not received a copy of the resolution, but I read in the Press with pleasure that it had been passed and that schemes would be put in hand which would give work not only to men from the depressed areas but also to unemployed men in London. In regard to the last part of the question I think the London County Council is giving a good lead to other areas, and I hope that its action will encourage any other authorities who are still holding back.
§ Sir K. WOODWill the right hon. Gentleman consider communicating the terms of this resolution in certain cases, inasmuch as the whole of the London County Council, including the Socialist members, voted for it?
