§ 37. Mr. W. B. TAYLORasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will give consideration to the inclusion of representatives of the producers of home-grown food upon the Consumers' Council now in process of preparation?
§ Mr. W. GRAHAMAs I have already stated, the composition of the Consumers' Council will receive most careful consideration. Meantime I can add nothing to my statement of 5th November.
§ Mr. TAYLORIs my right hon. Friend aware that both the working farmer and the farm worker are practically engaged in a sweated industry, and that they, therefore, need representation on this Consumers' Council?
§ Mr. GRAHAMI do not for a moment, dispute the very difficult position of agriculture, but it is much too early to make a further statement on the question. There have reached me innumerable representations, all of which will be considered.
