asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department the number of persons in England and Wales who have been found by coroners' verdicts to have committed suicide, for the 12 months ended to the last convenient date, giving the numbers of men and women separately?

For the 12 months ended 31st December, 1928, 3,381 males and 1,464 females.
