HC Deb 29 November 1928 vol 223 c577
35. Mr. NOEL BUXTON

asked the Minister of Health whether he is aware of the public demand for information as to the purity of certain preserved foods; and whether he will issue statements giving guidance on the question of the comparative hygienic value of chilled or frozen meat and fresh meat and tinned and fresh fruit, respectively?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

I am glad to observe a growing public interest in the purity of food, and I will consider whether there is any information in regard to the points mentioned by the right hon. Gentleman which it would be of advantage to publish.
