HC Deb 12 November 1928 vol 222 cc506-7
Mr. RAMSAY MacDONALD

On the Order Paper to-day there is notice of the Money Resolution on the Unemployment Insurance Bill. Can the Prime Minister tell us when he proposes to take a discussion on the Bill?

The PRIME MINISTER

I ought to apologise to the House for a little mistake on Friday about business. I hope it may be possible to get the two stages of the Money Resolution—the first to-morrow night and the second on Wednesday—so that the Bill may be debated, as I announced, on Thursday, and the business for Thursday and Friday will stand.
