HC Deb 27 February 1928 vol 214 c5
17. Mr. RAMSDEN

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether any steps are being taken to provide adequate sea communications with the island of Tobago?

The SECRETARY of STATE for the COLONIES (Mr. Amery)

A deputation from Tobago was received at the Colonial Office last October and the question of communications is engaging the attention of the Governor of Trinidad. The Governor will consider whether it is advisable to appoint a local commission to study the question more closely.
