§ Mr. AMERYEfforts have been made to establish cotton growing in the Northern Territories of the Gold Coast by free distribution of seed, a guaranteed purchase price and facilities for ginning. Hitherto, however, no substantial progress has been made owing to unfavourable climatic and transport conditions.
