asked the First Lord of the Admiralty how many applications for enlistment in the Royal Navy have been made during the year 1928, and how many men were accepted?

Information as to the number of applications for entry is not at present available. The numbers finally entered from the 1st of January to the 30th of September, 1928, are as follows: Royal Navy, 969 men, 1,371 boys; Royal Marines, 239.
