HC Deb 03 December 1928 vol 223 c838
59. Mr. ERSKINE (for Captain FRASER)

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he is aware that on the morning of the 24th November a Harrow Imp (member of the Junior Imperial League) was prohibited by the police from driving his car through Hyde Park because the car displayed a small card bearing the words Join the Imps; and will he state under what authority this action was taken?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for the HOME DEPARTMENT (Lieut.-Colonel Sir Vivian Henderson)

So far as I can find, the police know nothing of any such occurrence.
