§ 23. Viscount SANDONasked the Under-Secretary of State for the Home Department, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, whether the Fine Arts Commission have had before them the design of the proposed new offices of the British Broadcasting Corporation; and, if so, whether they considered buildings of that character desirable for erection in London?
Mr. SAMUELI understand that the Fine Arts Commission have not been consulted. If my Noble Friend desires to make any representations on the subject, they should be addressed to the Broadcasting Corporation direct, as they are entirely responsible for their own offices.
