HC Deb 23 April 1928 vol 216 cc625-6
50. Mr. NAYLOR

asked the Minister of Health whether he has received a communication from the London County Council urging him to introduce a comprehensive measure dealing generally with rating and valuation in London; and whether, in view of the long time this matter has been under consideration and the desirability of the alterations in the Law being affected in time for the quinquennial valuation in 1930, 'he will introduce the Bill during the present Session?

Sir K. WOOD

Yes, Sir. My right hon. Friend has received the communication to which the hon. Member refers. In reply to the second part of the question, I would refer him to the statement which my right hon. Friend made in this House on the Second Reading of the Rating and Valuation Bill now under consideration in another place.
