HC Deb 03 April 1928 vol 215 cc1778-9
20. Mr. STEPHEN

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he intends to abolish the medical panel committee appointed in connection with the national insurance scheme; and, if not, when the triennial election of the Glasgow Committee will take place?

Sir J. GILMOUR

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. As regards the second part, the term of office of all panel committees in Scotland was extended by Regulations till the 31st May, 1929, and the Glasgow Panel Committee will, therefore, fall to be re-elected at that time.
