HC Deb 29 November 1927 vol 211 c265
49. Viscount SANDON

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will take steps to secure full and adequate accommodation for the Imperial War Museum; and how much extra this would cost?

The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the TREASURY (Mr. Arthur Michael Samuel)

The requirements of the Imperial War Museum generally are, I understand, under consideration by the Royal Commission on the National Museums and Galleries. In the meantime the possibility of providing certain additional storage accommodation is being explored by the Office of Works.
