§ The MINISTER of PENSIONS (Major Tryon)Records are not kept in precise monthly periods, but approximately 600 cases were dealt with by way of further grants under special sanction during the period referred to. Of these, however, not more than half are additional to the figures which I give to the hon. Member of the Elland Division in my reply of 22nd March, of which I am sending my hon. and gallant Friend a copy.
