asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what was the total brokerage and commissions charged by the Government stockbrokers for the year ending, 31st March, 1927; and what is the percentage charged on the purchase of stocks for the Sinking Fund?

The remuneration is by a fixed salary of £2,000 a year and not by commissions.
