HC Deb 05 May 1927 vol 205 c1739
2. Mr. HORE-BELISHA

asked the Minister of Pensions the number of occasions on which the local war pension committees have been consulted before change has taken place in their areas, and the number of occasions on which the recommendations of the local war pension committees have been accepted and acted upon?

Major TRYON

I assume that the hon. Member refers to changes in the medical arrangements in the areas of local war pensions committees. For the reasons stated in my reply to him of the 28th March it is not the practice to consult local committees in regard to these arrangements.
