HC Deb 14 March 1927 vol 203 c1615
7. Brigadier-General CHARTERIS

(for Mr. WARDLAW-MILNE) asked the Under-Secretary of State for India whether he has yet received a report, as a result of the visit to India of the superintendent of the "Worcester," on the proposed training ship for boys entering the mercantile marine to be stationed at Bombay?

Earl WINTERTON

The report has been received, and it has been decided to establish a training chip at Karachi. The training ship is expected to be in working order about six months hence.
