HC Deb 14 March 1927 vol 203 c1628
47. Mr. THURTLE

asked the Prime Minister whether His Majesty's Government has instructed Sir Miles Lampson to discuss with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics accredited to Peking the alleged breaches in China on the part of Russia of the terms of the Anglo-Russian Trade Agreement of 1921, with a view to arriving at an amicable settlement of the questions in dispute in so far as they refer to diplomatic and other activities in China?

Sir A. CHAMBERLAIN

No, Sir.

Mr. THURTLE

Do we understand from the right hon. Gentleman that anti-British propaganda is being conducted by the Soviet Government in China?

Sir A. CHAMBERLAIN

I dealt with that the other day.
