§ 43. Mr. ROBERT YOUNG
asked the Minister of Labour whether His Majesty's Government intends to ratify the Geneva Convention on the weekly rest day in industrial undertakings; and, if so, when they propose to introduce the necessary legislation?
§ Sir A. STEEL-MAITLAND
The British Government delegates voted 1224 against this Convention at Geneva in 1921, and their action was subsequently confirmed by the decision of the Government not to ratify it. It is not proposed to reconsider that decision.
