Mr. GROVESasked the President of the Board of Education whether he is aware that the Conference of Extra-Metropolitan Local Education Authorities, comprising 25 representative authorities, expressed its strong objection to the general limiting standards for any part of the cost of education, as proposed in Circular 1388 of the Board of Education; and whether, in view of such overtures, he is prepared to amend the suggested procedure?
