§ Earl WINTERTONDraft amendments to the rules dealing with the more important recommendations of the Committee were published in 1925. The Government of India stated in March of this year that the opinions received on the draft amendments were then under their consideration. The answer to the second part of the question is in the affirmative.
§ Mr. KELLYIn view of the reply, are we likely to have any report as a result of the consideration?
§ Earl WINTERTONYes, I think so. The opinions received on the draft report published in 1925 have, I understand, now been received by tile Government of India, and I think, therefore, a decision may be expected shortly, but inquiry will be made of the Government of India.
