HC Deb 15 June 1927 vol 207 c996
43. Colonel VAUGHAN-MORGAN

asked the Minister of Transport whether his Department has established any order of comparative priority in which it will recommend to the local authorities concerned the carrying out of the programme of improvements proposed in the Report of Lord Lee's Commission for works other than those connected with Waterloo and Charing Cross Bridges, Lambeth Bridge, and the Victoria Dock Road scheme; and, if not, whether he will give this aspect of the question his attention?

The MINISTER of TRANSPORT (Colonel Ashley)

I am at present consulting with the highway authorities concerned on the subject of some of the more urgent schemes referred to in the Royal Commission's Report other than those specified in the question and until these consultations are completed it is not possible to formulate any order of priority.
